A person answers
Calls are answered 24/7 by someone who can tell you whether it is urgent and what happens next.
About us
We built this company around one idea: find out why the pest is there before treating it. Here is how that plays out on every job, and what you can expect when you call.
In short: Blue Pest Care runs its own crews from a downtown Seattle service office with a head office in Aberdeen. Every job starts with an inspection, exclusion and moisture fixes come before products, and phones are answered 24/7.
Pest problems in Seattle almost always come back to two things: moisture and openings. Rain keeps wood damp enough for carpenter ants and dampwood termites, and older homes over vented crawl spaces offer rodents plenty of ways in. So our technicians start in the crawl space, the attic and along the foundation, not at the truck with a sprayer.
You get photos of what we find and a written scope before any treatment. Where a single visit solves the problem, that is what we recommend. Where pests return every season, we explain why and offer a plan.
Treating pests without closing the way in means paying for the same problem next year. Sealing gaps with steel, screening vents, and flagging leaks and drainage problems is standard scope here, not an upsell.

What you can expect
Calls are answered 24/7 by someone who can tell you whether it is urgent and what happens next.
You see what we see, and you approve a written price before work starts.
Entry points get materials rodents cannot chew through, documented with before and after photos.
We recommend recurring service only when the pest pressure genuinely repeats.
Who writes our guides
Our Pest Help guides are written by Marjorie Tidwell, our pest prevention writer, with input from technicians in the field. They cover identification, seasonal checklists and honest pricing so homeowners can make good decisions, whether or not they call us.
When the schedule is full during an emergency, we may connect a caller with a trusted local company rather than leave them waiting. Otherwise, the work is ours from the first call to the follow-up visit.

Why two offices
Our crews work out of the downtown service office at 1440 5th Ave, which keeps the city and the close-in King County suburbs within easy reach for same or next day urgent calls. The head office in Aberdeen anchors the Grays Harbor side of the state, where heavy coastal rain and older timber-era homes keep carpenter ant, rodent and wood-destroying organism work steady year-round.
Between the two, routes run north to Everett, south through Tacoma to Olympia, and west to the coast. The coverage area page lists every city and county we serve and explains how scheduling works at the edges of the map.
We will not quote a price before seeing the problem, spray baseboards while the real entry point stays open, sell a contract for a one-time problem, or use foggers that scatter pests deeper into the walls. We would rather earn the next call than lock anyone into one.
We also keep the treatment conversation honest about safety: what is being applied, where it goes, and how long before kids and pets can use the space again. If a problem is better handled by another trade, such as a roofer for a failed gutter or an electrician for chewed wiring, we will say so and show you the photos.
